Model United Nations (MUN) is an educational simulation of a UN conference organized by high school students in Bahrain. Participants take on roles such as delegates, chairpersons, and press members, engaging in discussions to solve global issues. This experience helps students develop skills in leadership, critical thinking, diplomacy, negotiation, and debate, while also providing networking opportunities.
Al Rawabi Private School’s previous MUN conference was a remarkable success, featuring notable guests like H.E. Shikha Fajer bint Ali bin Rashid Al Khalifa and Ms. Nancy Ellie Khadori from the Shura Council. This year, Al Rawabi will host its Fourth MUN (ARPSMUN IV) to continue empowering its students and the community.
Guiding Principles of ARPSMUN
To educate young students by raising awareness of global issues. We aim to develop critical thinking, enhance public speaking, diplomatic skills, and build confidence through meaningful engagement. By fostering intellectual growth, we inspire youth to become proactive contributors to a better world.
To build a respected student-led organization that students aspire to be part of. Through impactful Model United Nations conferences, we aim to shape a generation of informed, confident, and compassionate young leaders with the voice, determination and courage to address global challenges into making a positive change.
